This position is located at 1045 Main St, Moncton NB and may require visiting Correctional Service of Canada Federal Institutions on occasion.
The incumbent of the position plans, manages and coordinates the provision of regional contracting, procurement and materiel management services to regional clients for Correctional Service Canada (CSC). The incumbent provides functional oversight to the Chiefs of Materiel Management. The incumbent may need to provide training to managers in a correctional environment.
Working with a dynamic team at the Regional Head Office located at 1045 Main St. Moncton, New Brunswick. Flexible work arrangements are currently in place and can be discussed to improve working capacity and environment.
We have the intention on filling one permanent position at our Regional Head Office. We may use this pool of candidate for future employment opportunities, including at a lower level, within the Correctional Service of Canada.

EDUCATION
Secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (a satisfactory score on the PSC test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience).
EXPERIENCE
• Recent* and significant** Experience in Procurement (including contracting), services contracting and at least one of the following: either goods or construction contracting.
* Recent experience is defined as some experience acquired within the past two (2) years
** Significant experience is defined as cumulative experience amounting to at least two (2) years
• Experience in analyzing procurement requirements and providing advice to clients
• Experience in human resource management
Note: Human resources management includes establishing objectives, carrying out supervision and performance reports and resolving questions/problems from employees as needed.
EDUCATION
• Graduate of the Professional Development & Certification Program (PDCP) of the Government of Canada.
• Completion of a post secondary education in Business Administration or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
• Experience in the preparation of Proactive Disclosure, contract reports.
• Experience in the preparation and in presenting information in training sessions.
• Experience in using an Integrated Finance and Materiel Management System.
• Recent* experience in managing financial resources
* Recent experience is defined as experience acquired within the past two (2) years
