Duties

• This position reports to the Manager, Accommodation Management Business Unit.
• The Accommodation Management Business Unit is responsible for the provision of business and support services to the branch.
• This position is responsible for:
- Coordinating financial information such as monthly forecasting and reporting to management.
- Investigating and responding to queries from branches within PSPC and clients including requests for adhoc reporting.
- Data entry into the department real estate and financial system, SAP.
- Providing administrative support services.

This is an inventory. A pool of qualified candidates will be established and may be used to staff identical or similar term, and/or permanent positions within Edmonton, Regina and Winnipeg.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

- A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Essential Experience:

• Experience using a Financial Database system, preferably SAP
• Experience creating and improving reports in Excel
• Experience in researching, collecting and analyzing information related to finances
• Experience in providing client service

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
• Graduation from a recognized university in Business Administration, Economics or some other specialty related to the position.

Degree equivalency

Asset Experience:
• Experience working in SIGMA
• Experience working in a real property unit, preferably for the Government of Canada.
• Experience creating pivot tables, vLookups and data sorting and filtering in MS Excel 2013
• Experience writing business cases

There is a 180 day waiting period before you can reapply if eliminated from the inventory. Your application will not be reconsidered until the waiting period has elapsed.

Please note that in addition to all assessment methods, correspondence and communication in relation to this selection process may also be used to assess certain qualifications.

Competencies may not be reassessed.

Microsoft Excel Testing will be administered.

Preference

Preference will be given to veterans and to Canadian citizens, in that order, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
