As Regional Manager of Geomatic Services, you participate as a member of the Real Property Professional and Technical Services management team at PSPC. Professional and Technical Services is responsible for Architecture and Engineering, Project Management, Federal Real Property Management in Quebec and Environmental Services, among others. As such, you have the opportunity to participate and influence the orientations for your branch and for the organization as a whole. You will be responsible for a team of approximately 10 professionals who offer a range of varied and innovative services in geomatics including, among others, surveying, 3D modeling and virtual reality, mapping, spatial data management and BIM, as well as application development. Your main clients include the other Real Property Professional and Technical Services sectors at PSPC and all federal government departments and Crown Corporations.
As a result of this process, a pool of partially qualified candidates will be established to staff, within Public Services and Procurement Canada, Québec Region, similar or identical positions with various linguistic and security profiles. This pool may be used to staff positions at PSPC

Your résumé.
Education :
Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in geomatics, theory and practice or other related field such as land survey.
Experience :
Extensive experience* in managing a work unit in terms of human and financial resources or experience in managing project teams.
Extensive experience* in the planning, development and management of geomatics products and the delivery of geomatics services.
Experience in providing client organizations and senior management with strategic and technical advice on issues related to surveying (including land surveying) or the management geospatial data.
*"Extensive experience" is defined as approximately two (2) continuous years of work experience within the past five (5) years in the relevant field of expertise.
ASSET:
Occupational Certification :
Has a Canada Lands Surveyors' Commission.
Eligibility for a Land Surveyor Commission in Canada.
Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des arpenteur(e)s-géomètres du Québec.
Asset Expérience:
Experience in the development and implementation of innovative or organizational transformation initiatives related to geomatics e.g. BIM, virtual reality, sensor-based space occupancy measurements.
Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)
