Education:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in microbiology, chemistry, pharmacy, food science, mechanical engineering, biomechanics, ergonomics, industrial design, or some other specialty related to the position.
Note: The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and must have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization.
Experience:
1. Experience conducting scientific studies or investigations on product safety issues.
2. Experience assisting with scientific projects or programs.
3. Experience developing two or more types of documents. Examples may include operating procedures, guidelines, action plans, briefing materials, risk communications, policies, regulations, reports, or correspondence.
Experience:
1. Experience in providing interpretation and guidance on policies or regulations to industry, stakeholders, colleagues or the public.
2. Experience leading multi-stakeholder consultations or coordinating task groups of professionals.
