The immediate need is to staff two bilingual Imperative CBC/CBC positions for a one year term period. A partially or fully assessed pool may be established to staff similar positions within the Department of Veterans Affairs with various tenures, various linguistic profiles (bilingual imperative only), and/or various security clearances.

Education:
ED1 - Graduation with a degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
*Acceptable combination is defined as “A secondary school diploma with an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience relevant to the position being staffed.”
Experience:
EX1 - Experience providing advice and recommendations to supervisors/managers on complex issues.
EX2 - Experience dealing with the public in the provision of programs or services.
Abilities:
AB1 - Ability to establish priorities and work effectively under the pressure of conflicting demands.**
AB2 - Ability to research, interpret and apply policies and/or legislation.**
AB3 - Ability to communicate effectively orally.
AB4 - Ability to communicate effectively in writing.**

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants should clearly demonstrate on their application if they meet any of the asset qualifications.
Experience:
AEX1 - Experience serving as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
AEX2 - *Recent experience reviewing documents, and interpreting and applying the provisions of the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act and their related policies and guidelines.
AEX3 - *Recent experience processing complex access to information and privacy files requiring negotiations with government officials, as well as consultations with other government departments, central agencies and/or third parties.
AEX4 - Experience managing a team.
AEX5 - *Recent experience working with the Access Pro Case Management (APCM) and Access Pro Redaction software to produce reports and statistics.
*Recent is defined as within the last five (5) years.
