Intent of the process

A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions with various tenures, various language requirements (English or French essential, Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB) and/or security requirements, according to the position being staffed within Employment and Social Development Canada.

EDUCATION
- A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience, may serve as an alternative to the minimum education standard.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
EX1: Experience collaborating with a variety of clients, partners, stakeholders or multi-disciplinary teams related to communications projects.
EX2: Experience providing strategic advice to management or clients related to communications projects.
EX3: Experience contributing to, managing, or implementing communications plans, communications projects, or related work plans.
EX4: Experience identifying communications issues and their potential impact and presenting effective recommendations to clients and/ or management.

ASSET EXPERIENCE
AEX1. Experience developing content and materials for the social media platforms of an organization or government department.
AEX2: Experience developing user-centric web content, including writing, editing or organizing new and existing content.
AEX3: Experience planning and organizing departmental or corporate events or outreach activities.
AEX4: Experience providing logistical support for Ministerial, media, internal or public events.
AEX5: Experience developing and implementing media plans.
AEX6: Experience developing internal communication products.
AEX7: Experience conducting public or internal environment research and analysis.
AEX8: Experience writing and editing communications products such as backgrounders, fact sheets, news releases, media lines, Qs&As, PowerPoint presentations, speaking notes or scripts.
AEX9: Experience writing and editing speeches.
AEX10: Experience in media monitoring, media analysis and/ or media relations.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Willingness to work overtime.
