Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to fulfill current and future needs for audit professionals – for Internal Audit Principals (AS-07), Audit Team Leaders (AS-06), and Senior Auditors (AS-05). It may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures and various security requirements within Shared Services Canada.

SSC is committed to providing regional opportunities where feasible. It may be possible to work from diverse locations in Canada, depending on the specific position being filled.

EXPERIENCE:

Internal Audit Principal (AS-07)

EX1. *Recent and **Significant experience in the management of all phases (planning, conduct and reporting) of oversight activities or audit engagements
EX2. ***Experience in leading briefings and providing strategic advice to Senior Executive
EX3. ***Experience in managing ****human resources
EX4. ***Experience in presenting audit results to senior management

*Recent experience is defined as having experience acquired within the last ten (10) years.
**Significant experience is defined as the breadth and depth of experience associated with completing the duties of the position for a period of at least five (5) years.
***Experience is defined as the breadth and depth of experience associated with completing the duties of the position for a period of at least three (3) years.
****Managing human resources is defined as managing performance, setting team priorities, and assigning work.

Audit Team Leader (AS-06)

EX1. *Recent and **Significant experience in leading all phases (planning, conduct and reporting) of audit engagements
EX2. ***Experience in preparing written materials for management (Director or equivalent level and above) that include advice and recommendations such as but not limited to briefing notes, presentations and reports
EX3. ***Experience in presenting and communicating results to management (Director or equivalent level and above)

Senior Auditor (AS-05)
