The Canada Gazette Directorate is a team comprised of bilingual desktop publishers and editors who are professional and passionate by their work, and dedicated to serving Canadians. The desktop publishers are equipped with the latest technology to perform their daily work.
The content that is published in the Canada Gazette differs in each publication, and the work is assuredly and continuously filled with challenges. The work requires attention to detail, precision, and is also focused on client service. The Canada Gazette is an essential element of the Canadian regulatory process and must be published according to legislated timelines.

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Recent* experience in using the publishing software Adobe InDesign.
2. Recent* experience working in a digital publication environment**.
*Recent is defined as the depth and breadth of experience associated with having performed a broad range of related activities over the last three (3) years.
**A digital publication environment is defined as a place where publications (PDF, HTML or XML) are produced and then published on the web.
