The immediate intent of this process is to staff one (1) indeterminate, bilingual CBC/CBC, WP-04 position in Charlottetown, PE.
The intent of this process is to establish a pool of qualified candidates which could be used to staff similar or identical positions with various tenures, workplace arrangements, language requirements, and/or security clearance levels in various Federal Government Departments.

Education:
Stream 1 - WP 3 and Stream 2 - WP 4:
Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution with a Bachelor’s degree or an acceptable combination* of education, training and experience.
*An acceptable combination is defined as secondary school diploma with experience relevant to the position being staffed. The depth and breadth of experience in any of the following (but not limited to) will be considered: statistical data, policy management, program management, project management or quality management.
Experience:
Stream 1 – WP 3:
EX1 - Experience in research, analysis, and summarization of information.
EX2 - Experience in creating reports and documents to provide information to your manager*.
EX3 - Experience in the interpretation and application of legislation, policy, or guidelines.
EX4 - Experience in creating and maintaining effective networks and partnerships.
Stream 2 – WP 4:
EX1 - Experience in research, analysis, and summarization of information.
EX2 - Experience in creating reports and documents to provide information to your manager*.
EX3 - Experience in the interpretation and application of legislation, policy, or guidelines.
EX5 - Significant* experience in statistical data, program management, quality management, project management or policy management.
EX6 - Experience providing advice and guidance to your manager* on complex* cases or issues.
EX7 - Experience in liaising with internal or external stakeholders in one of the following: development of shared service agreements; shared memoranda of understanding; development of a partnership.
*Manager is defined as at least one level above the position you are in when providing the example.
*Significant is defined as the depth and breadth that you would gain while working in your specified area for approximately a two year period.
*Complex is defined as having many complicated and interrelated parts.
Asset Qualifications:
AEX1 - Experience as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
AEX2 - Experience using a client data base system.
AEX3 - Experience working with a health benefits program.
AEX4 - Experience working in the field of long term care for the elderly.
AEX5 - Experience working in treatment benefits which includes cannabis for medical purposes.
AEX6 - Experience working in disability benefits.
AEX7 - Experience in the development of business processes or supporting material to facilitate program delivery.
AEX8 - Experience in leading or supervising a team.
AEX9 - Experience as a Veterans Affairs Case Manager.
AEX10 - Experience as a Case Manager in community or provincial environments, working with an adult population.
AEX11 - Experience working with programs that are aimed at supporting individuals with transition or financial support. Examples would include (but not limited to): rehabilitation or return to work programs, education programs, career and employment support programs, or income support programs.
AEX12 - Experience in supporting the implementation, management or administration of a national contract.
AEX13 - Experience in researching, analyzing and evaluating information in the context of service program delivery.
AEX14 - Experience in developing, organizing, and delivering information sessions.
AEX15 - Experience in writing reports, work plans, statistical summaries, literature reviews and project documents.
