ABOUT THE JOB
As the Manager of Supply Chain Management at Canadian Coast Guard, you will manage and develop the Supply Chain Management strategic frameworks. You will also manage short-term and long-term policies, objectives, standards and business plans for supply chain and warehouse management. You will establish and maintain current Departmental and Sector requirements concerning supply chain management reporting to senior management. You will be establishing consultative networks, strategic linkages and information channels with key stakeholders, clients, and partners (national and international).
Your role includes planning human and financial resources through monitoring performance, establishing objectives and recommending training and development activities for staff.

The salary is negotiable upon entry into the public service (within the range specified above).

EDUCATION:
ED1:A secondary school diploma.
EXPERIENCE:
EX1:Experience in performing Life Cycle Management duties for the management assets.
EX2:Experience in defining, developing, or implementing integrated logistics support business processes and functionality (e.g. maintenance management, supply chain management, technical data management, or configuration management, etc.).
EX3:Experience in human and financial resource management.
EX4:Experience in performing/delivering Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) in a systems engineering environment, operational service or manufacturing/production facility.
Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)

KNOWLEDGE:
K1:Knowledge of the four phases of Life Cycle Material Management.
K2:Knowledge of the Canadian Coast Guard organization, priorities and programs.
K3:Knowledge of typical use and benefits of a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
