Intent of the process

This is a continuous intake inventory to create and maintain an inventory for future opportunities. This process may be used for various positions and tenures (including but not limited to term and indeterminate appointments, internal assignments, secondments, deployments, acting appointments) as well as various security requirements, language requirements and conditions of employment.

During the application process you will be asked a series of questions in order to determine the type of job(s) that would best suit your qualifications. Your response to each question will be either a yes or no.

Hiring managers will make their selection by establishing the criteria required for their positions to be staffed.

Education:
• Successful completion of secondary school education according to provincial/territorial standards or employer-approved alternatives, such as a combination of education, experience, and/or training.

Degree equivalency

Asset Experience:
• Experience in general office administration; such as, arranging meetings (in-person and virtual), preparing background material for meetings, making travel arrangements, managing calendars, and receiving and directing telephone calls, data entry, monitoring information flow, and records management.
• Experience using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience providing administrative support in an executive-level office (Director or higher), including managing executive calendars, making travel arrangements and taking minutes at meetings.
• Experience in maintaining physical and/or electronic files (e.g. file scanning, indexing, retrieving, retention, archiving of data)
• Experience in financial management such as assisting in budgeting, recording transactions, developing and seeking required approvals, reporting on expenditures/balances and providing advice.
• Experience in providing general procurement and contracting support services (e.g. assisting in general procurement practices, ordering goods and supplies)
• Experience providing videoconferencing support and assistance with the configuration/usage of office technology
• Experience preparing and formatting various documents for senior management.
• Depth, breadth, and scope in any one or combination of the experience factors.
