The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is the federal government agency responsible for administering sentences of a term of two years or more, as imposed by the courts. CSC is responsible for managing institutions of various security levels and supervising offenders under conditional release in the community.

Although the immediate intent of this Job Opportunity Advertisement is to staff indeterminately, applicants should be aware that a pool of qualified candidates (fully assessed or partially assessed) may be established and may be used to staff similar positions at this group and level with various language requirements listed in the Language Requirements section. In addition, this process may be used for various tenures (indeterminate, specified period), security requirements and conditions of employment within the Correctional Service of Canada. EDUCATION
1. Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE (Experience for AS-03 and AS-04)
1. Recent* and significant** experience providing support services in a client service context.
2. Significant** experience preparing and summarizing reports to provide recommendations to management.
3. Significant** experience researching, compiling, and analyzing data or information from a variety of sources.
EXPERIENCE (Experience AS-04 only)
4. Experience drafting correspondence and presentations for management.
*Recent is defined as experience acquired through the execution of a wide range of related activities within the last 3 years.
**Significant is defined by the depth and breadth of experience acquired through the performance of full-time duties for a minimum of 6 months (AS-03 positions) AND a minimum of 12 months (AS-04 positions) consecutively.
ASSET EDUCATION
1. Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
ASSET EXPERIENCE (Asset experience for AS-03 and AS-04)
1. Experience working in a project environment.
2. Experience in conducting quality control activities.
3. Experience in financial monitoring, forecasting and budget tracking.
4. Experience in corporate or operational planning.
5. Experience creating reports in Microsoft Power BI.

6. Experience managing or supervising a team.
7. Experience in coordinating projects or initiatives.
