Candidates must clearly demonstrate in the experience questionnaire how they meet the education and experience factors listed as essential and asset qualifications on the Statement of Merit Criteria. In order to do so, they must write one or two paragraphs for each demonstrating how they meet them with concrete examples. Note that it is not sufficient to only state that the qualifications are met or to provide a listing of current or past responsibilities. Resumes will be used as a secondary source to validate the experience described in the experience questionnaire. Failure to clearly demonstrate in the experience questionnaire how you meet the above mentioned criteria Education and Experience, both Essential and Asset, where applicable, may result in the rejection of your application.
A qualified candidate may be offered the position even though he/she does not meet any or all of the asset qualifications. A pool of qualified persons resulting from this process will be created. This pool could be used to meet casual needs or to staff term or indeterminate positions within Global Affairs Canada. This pool could also be used to staff similar positions by other organizations in the core public administration.

Your résumé.
Graduation with a diploma or a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
-Two (2) recent years of experience* in at least one of the following fields:
material / assets / inventory management,
fleet management,
supply chain management,
procurement,
project management
- Experience of using a financial system
*Experience could be cumulative and must be acquired within the last 7 years
Experience in providing advice to stakeholders** on the interpretation and application of policies, strategies, legislation and regulations in the area of material/assets/inventory management or fleet management.
Experience in developing content for training and in providing training online or in class.
Experience in writing business cases.
Experience in using MS Project.
Extensive experience with MS Excel including the use/creation of Macros, Pivot Tables, Complex formulas, Conditional formatting and Large tables.
Experience of using SPECTRUM
**Stakeholders” refers to any of the following: clients, coworkers, suppliers/contractors, industry representatives.
Experience of work on fleet related projects within the federal government
Various language requirements
Language Requirements:
