OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Licensed as a professional architect in Canada.
EXPERIENCE
• Extensive* architectural experience such as: building and infrastructure planning, programming, design, construction, applied research, and environmental sustainability for large complex projects.
• Extensive* experience applying acts, codes and standards such as:Canada Labour Code, National Building Code of Canada and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) standards.
• Significant** experience in creating original designs (including schematic design and facility master planning), architectural plans and specifications for projects.
• Significant** experience providing advice and recommendations to management (‘Management’ means supervisory positions or higher).
• Significant** experience analyzing issues and developing recommendations.
• Experience in review and quality control of architectural designs.
• Significant** experience in leading and coordinating teams of professionals
* Extensive experience is defined as experience associated with having performed a broad range of related activities, which could normally be acquired over a period of approximately ten (10) years.

EDUCATION
Post-professional degree or training in urban planning, heritage, architectural programming, building science, sustainable (Eco) practices, and/or security design.
EXPERIENCE
• Experience developing corporate-level policies, standards, guidelines, and business strategies relating to architecture or real property assets.
• Experience developing and writing project briefs and statements of work for the procurement of architectural services.
• Experience in applying ecologically responsible design and construction tools & methodologies.
• Experience in security design and installation.
• Experience writing and reviewing generic technical specification sections for the National Master Specification (NMS) including technical product research, MasterFormat and UniFormat.
