The immediate need is staff three full-time indeterminate positions. A qualified group of candidates may be identified and may be used to staff future vacancies (including similar positions, on a temporary or permanent basis, at full or part time hours).
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

Secondary School Diploma or an acceptable combination of education, experience and/or training.
Experience in using various word processing/spreadsheet software such as MS Word and Excel
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume or multi-taking environment with a focus on customer service.
Experience interpreting and providing guidance on procedures and/or policies and/or legislation
Experience in the purchasing of goods and/or services to ensure best value within a business environment.
A Bachelor's degree from a recognized post secondary institution in a field relevant to the position.
A diploma or certification from recognized post secondary institution with a specialization related to acquisitions/procurement
Accreditation (or Enrollment) in a formal Procurement program. (speak to level of completion in enrollment)
Experience in the procurement of goods or services in the Federal Government of Canada utilizing PSPC standing offers or supply arrangements.
Experience using an Integrated Procurement-Financial Management System (such as SAP, Oracle)
Willingness and ability to work occasional overtime.
Willingness and ability to travel for work and/or training purposes using various modes of transportation (including owned or leased government transport, commercial and light aircraft and up to and including remote locations).

All applicants for positions within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police will be subject to a thorough security clearance process which includes an interview wherein questions may include (but not limited to), reference checks, previous employment, on-line activities, credit checks, alcohol and/or drug use.
