The current intention of this selection process is to staff one (1) position (one IS-03) on an indeterminate basis. A pool of partially qualified and/or fully qualified candidates will be established to staff similar positions within Global Affairs Canada with various language requirements and/or various tenures, according to the positions being staffed.

EDUCATION
ALL STREAMS
ED1 - A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

EXPERIENCE

EX1 - Experience in using the Adobe Creative Suite in a MAC environment.
STREAM 1
EX2 - Recent experience* in planning, developing and delivering multimedia marketing tools, products and services in the following areas: publications, branding, social media and large format design.
STREAM 2
EX3 - Recent* and extensive ** experience in planning, developing and delivering multimedia marketing tools, products and services in the following areas: publications, branding, social media and large format design.
EX4 - Experience in simultaneously coordinating or managing multiple projects with various deadlines, across teams.
EX5 - Experience in providing advice to management in the field of visual communications.
*Recent is defined as depth and breadth of experience normally associated with the performance of those duties in the last two (2) years.
**Significant experience is defined as having the depth and breadth of experience that would normally be acquired over a period of five (5) years or more.
KNOWLEDGE

K1 - Knowledge of the Communications Policy of the Government of Canada particularly in the areas of publishing, FIP, and standard on Web accessibility.
