As a Personnel Security Screening Officer at DFO, you will be dealing with security screening of all levels (Reliability Status, Secret and Top Secret). You will be part of a dynamic team that is focused on guiding managers on the required procedures to obtain a security clearance for their employees and providing great client service.

Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to staff two term positions for one year with the possibility of an extension.

Education:
•A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.

The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:
◦A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
◦An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
Experience working in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Experience in providing client service.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Experience:
Experience working in a Federal Government Department Security Office, in one of the following discipline: Security Screening, Physical Security, Business Continuity, Emergency Management or Security in Contracting.
