This process could be used to create a pool of qualified or partially qualified candidates for the positions of Project Manager, Technology Solutions; Business Analyst and Infrastructure; Infrastructure Architect and Cyber Security Analyst or similar positions at Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED).
We have 4 job profiles to fill:
Stream 1: Project Manager, Technology Solutions
This person will work on the delivery of various IT projects and the coordination of several project activities, including communication, change management, collaboration between different partners, meeting planning and project documentation. The person may also contribute to technical deliverables as required.
Stream 2: Operations and Infrastructure Analyst
This person will contribute to the analysis of IT operations and the implementation of business process improvements (services and infrastructure). She will also be involved in various projects as technical lead.
Stream 3: Infrastructure Architect
This individual will work with several IT teams to deliver Azure and AWS cloud computing applications and services. In this role, he/she will be responsible for evaluating systems diagrams for improvement and acting as an architectural consultant. He/she will be required to contribute to technical deliverables.
Stream 4: Cyber Security Analyst
This person will work with all IT teams to secure applications and services in the Azure and AWS cloud. The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating and documenting several security prerequisites for delivering IT projects and maintaining an ongoing vigilance of Government of Canada directives and policies, as well as security advisories from the Canadian Centre for Cybersecurity.
Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED) offers guidance to Quebec businesses and regions toward the economy of tomorrow. CED focuses its interventions on SMEs and non-profit economic organizations by building on innovation and inclusive growth, targeting projects with significant economic benefits, and acting as a facilitator in bringing together the right partners for a given project.

EDUCATION
Successful completion of two (2) years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.
EXPERIENCE
All streams :
• Recent* experience providing advice and recommendations to co-workers or stakeholders in an information management or information technology environment.
• Recent* experience in planning and facilitating meetings with clients and stakeholders in both official languages.
Stream 1 : Project Officer, Technological Solutions
• Recent* and significant** experience working in IM/IT project management and of their implementation.
• Recent* and significant** experience in project documentation.
• Recent* experience of work related to user change management or a set of activities involving accompaniment of users during a technological change.
• Recent* experience in solutions analysis in a Cloud-based production environment (Microsoft Azure, Office 365 or AWS).
Stream 2: Operations and Infrastruture Analyst
• Recent* and significant** experience in reporting, analyzing and interpreting metrics
• Recent* experience in ITIL process analysis.
• Recent* experience in solutions management in a Cloud-based production environment (Microsoft Azure, Office 365 or AWS).
• Recent* experience working with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
Stream 3: Infrastruture and Cloud Architect
• Recent* and significant** experience in Oracle or SQL Server databases management.
• Recent* and significant** experience of Active Directory management.
• Recent* experience in analysis of architecture of Cloud-based systems.
• Recent* experience in analysis of architecture of IM-IT systems
Stream 4: Cybersecurity Analyst
• Recent* experience in supporting cybersecurity service operations.
• Recent* experience in performing, researching, testing and administrating cybersecurity controls required from regulatory bodies.
• Recent* experience in documenting and implementing cybersecurity services solutions, procedures and practices.
• Recent * experience in promoting safe behaviors to maintain and improve the integrity of the cybersecurity services.
• Recent experience* working in a Cloud-based production environment (Microsoft Azure, Office 365 or AWS).
* Recent experience refers to experience gained in the last four years.
** Significant experience refers to an extensive and varied experience gained by performing a variety of complex activities for a minimum of six months.
Depending on the position being staffed, one or some of the qualifications above may be considered as essential for the job. This doesn't mean that you must possess all qualifications, but these criteria may be a deciding factor in choosing the persons to be appointed.
ASSET STUDIES AND CERTIFICATION
• University degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology or other software related field.
• Project Management certification – Project Management Professional (PMP) or any relevant certification

ASSET EXPERIENCE
- Recent experience* in participating in a deployment project with Office 365, Azure or AWS.
- Recent experience* working with Intune.
- Recent* experience working with network topologies and their components (virtual network, subnet, firewall, gateway, etc.) in a Microsoft environment.
- Recent* and significant** experience in the development of the Microsoft Power Platform suite (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Recent* experience working with chatbots and artificial intelligence.
- Recent* experience in managing OpenText GCDocs Content Server.
*Recent experience refers to experience gained in the last two years.
** Significant experience refers to an extensive and varied experience gained by performing a variety of complex activities for a minimum of six (6) months
OPERATIONNAL REQUIREMENTS
- Willing to work overtime occasionally and be able to do so.
- Consent to travel occasionally and be able to do so.
- Be able to work remotely
- Be able to travel to the Montreal Head Offices on occasion.
- Hold a valid driver’s license or able to travel in accordance with their activities.
