We are working to break down barriers to scientific data and related software code. By leveraging cloud native technologies and GitHub we intend on building an automated end-to-end platform for generating, managing, storing, and disseminating science data. We are looking for someone with strong GitHub skills and experience deploying web applications on Amazon Cloud. Experience with continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) platforms and tools is essential to helping us achieve our goal.

• Experience deploying web applications on AWS including Lambda, RDS, and S3
• Experience using CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, Travis, CodeBuild etc.) to automate testing and software builds
• Experience using GitHub including integration with CI/CD
• Experience developing applications using Python
• Experience with Docker including docker-compose
• Knowledge of industry best practices for cloud native application infrastructures.
• Knowledge of industry best practices for software testing.
• Knowledge of industry best practices for open source software (e.g. licensing, documentation).
