Intent of the process

The immediate intention of this process is to fill one (1) permanent position with a CCC/CCC language profile.

A pool of qualified or partially qualified candidates may be established to fill similar positions at Elections Canada of varying durations (such as indeterminate, term, acting). These positions could have various bilingual imperative linguistic profiles (BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC).

EDUCATION

Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE

- Significant** experience in providing advice, direction and making recommendations to management on specific issues.
- Significant** experience in drafting and preparing briefing materials and presentations.
- Recent* experience in carrying out research, analysis and consultation activities.
- Recent* experience in developing and implementing projects plans.
- Recent* experience in representing a group or organization in a public setting.

* Recent experience refers to experience obtained within the past five (5) years.
** Significant experience is defined to mean the depth and breadth of the experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of the various complex activities and equivalent for at least three (3) years.

ASSET/EDUCATION

Post-secondary diploma or university degree in a field related to the position to be staffed.

Degree equivalency

ASSET/EXPERIENCES

- Experience in designing instructional material for training programs geared towards adult learners.
- Experience delivering presentations or training to adult learners.
- Experience in supervising staff.
- Experience drafting interpretation notes, written opinions, advance rulings or guidelines pursuant to an Act.
- Experience in designing and creating online instructional materials.
- Experience in the configuration and administration of an online learning management system.

Conditions of employment
