The intent of this process is to establish a pool of qualified candidates which could be
used to staff similar or identical positions with various tenures, language requirements,
and/or security clearance levels in various Federal Government Departments or
Agencies, in various locations.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:
ED1 - Successful completion of two years of secondary school or employer-approved alternatives*.

*Employer approved alternative is an acceptable combination of training and experience. Experience working in an office environment that required tasks such as: typing, filing, sending and replying to e-mail, answering telephone inquires, etc and training in the basic use of computers.

Note - Candidates who have been appointed or deployed for an indeterminate period to a position in the CR classification are accepted as meeting the two years of secondary school requirement.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
EX1 - Experience** providing service to clients by telephone, in person or in writing.
EX2 - Experience** providing clerical/administrative support services.
EX3 - Experience** using computer software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook etc.)

**Experience is defined as having performed the activities for a duration of at least 1 year.

Abilities:
AB1 - Ability to communicate in writing
AB2 - Ability to communicate orally
AB3 - Attention to detail
AB4 - Ability to multi task – (CR-05 position only)

AED2 - Successful completion of post-secondary school diploma (includes community college, CEGEP, technical college or university) with specialization in a health-related or social work field.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
AEX1 - Experience as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
AEX2 - Experience working in a Health Services environment.
AEX3 - Experience working with medical terminology.
AEX4 - Experience in handling / protecting personal client information in accordance with Access to Information Act and Privacy Act requirements.
AEX5 - Experience in the administration and maintenance of information in an electronic processing system.
AEX6 - Experience using Freebalance.
AEX7 - Experience handling financial transactions in an office setting.
AEX8 - Experience working with Veterans Affairs Canada programs, services or benefits.
AEX9 - Experience working in Veterans Affairs Canada client pay.
