In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in biomedical engineering.

Degree equivalency

Recent* and significant** experience working as a Biomedical Engineer with a variety of common clinical medical equipment.

Experience in providing guidance and expertise about medical equipment to manager/supervisors, work group, committee or production employees.

Recent* experience in assessing and comparing medical equipment

Note: Recent* means acquired in the past ten years.
Significant** means working directly in the field for at least two years.

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in clinical engineering.

Degree equivalency

Experience with development of biomedical engineering policy, procedures, regulations or training requirements relating to medical equipment.

Experience in project management.

Ability to prepare technical reports, summaries and notes pertaining to a range of activities or problems related to medical equipment, such as, but not limited to recalls and incident investigations.

Willing and able to travel to various sites if necessary.

Willing and able to work occasional overtime on short notice, as required.
