The Insurance Supervision Sector’s (ISS) Central Operating Team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the position of Officer, Operational Reporting & Support. The Officer, Operational Reporting & Support is accountable for supporting the Central Operating Team in delivering on their mandate. The incumbent must work independently to support the team in delivering on ISS sector priorities, timelines, and workflows related to planning, budgeting, monitoring, reporting and communication. The incumbent will coordinate and expedite information flowing to and from the team, assist in completing centralized reporting and dashboards as well as provide support services for our Quality Management Program, training programs and engagement initiatives.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
• A degree from a post-secondary institution specializing in business, commerce, economics, finance, accounting, mathematics or a related field OR a combination of relevant professional industry experience and education.

Degree equivalency

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
• Recent experience in business planning and performance reporting, including analysing operational reporting issues within the financial services sector*, regulatory body or other relevant government department or agency.
• Experience in controlling the quality and accuracy of various documents or administrative forms.
• Recent and significant experience in coordinating and planning executive-level meetings and/or events and budgets, including booking travel arrangements, drafting agendas, briefing notes, meeting minutes and decision points for an executive audience.
• Significant experience in the use of word processing, spreadsheets and email software such as the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).

* Financial services sector experience is defined as experience working in a financial institution, including banks, trust and loan companies and insurance companies, and firms dealing with financial services audits or consulting engagements, as well as government departments that directly deal with the supervision and regulation of these institutions or other related areas.
