For this selection process, it is our intention to communicate with candidates via email for screening and assessment purposes. A pool of (fully or partially qualified) candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions at the EN-ENG-05 group and level within Natural Resources Canada with various tenures (determinate period or permanent), various language requirements (English Essential, French Essential, English or French Essential, or Bilingual), linguistic requirements (imperative and/or non-imperative) and profile(s) (BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC, etc.), various security requirements (Reliability status or Secret clearance), various conditions of employment and for various locations.

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Building or Mechanical Engineering or an other engineering speciality relevant to the duties of the position.
Minimum 15 years of experience acquired in a work place, carrying out activities related to the experiences indicated hereunder:
Significant* and recent ** and varied experience in project management for the development or the deployment of technologies or energy efficiency practises in the commercial or institutional or industrial sectors.
Significant* experience in managing resources and supervising employees including preparing work plans and managing technical teams.
Significant* and recent ** experience in planning and implementing complex project carried out with partners in the public or private sectors. The experience required include managing project scope, resources, budget and schedule.
Experience in developing partnerships with the public or private sector including the preparation of contractual agreements.
* Significant experience refers to at least 5 years experience in a work place.
** Recent experience refers to experience acquired within the last 10 years.
Certification or diploma in Project Management.
Experience in providing advice and progress reports to higher management on operational and strategic matters.
Experience in the development of strategies and implementation of programs.
Experience in preparing, implementing and coordinating the procurement of professional services related to activities in the building sector.
Experience in the design and management of organizational changes for responding to new guidelines, reaching higher efficiency or other challenges in the organization.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
