Information on employment equity

1) Please ensure you read all poster notes thoroughly as they contain important information that will be required in the application process. Failure to read the notes and follow the instructions could result in your application missing critical information providing for insufficient information for the assessment board to complete your assessment resulting in your elimination from the process. It is the responsibility of the candidate to clearly outline that they meet each of the screening criteria (i.e. Education and Experience Qualifications, both Essential and Assets). 3) Candidates must include a valid e-mail address in their application. It is the candidate's responsibility to ensure that this address is functional and that it
accepts messages from unknown users (some e-mail systems block these types
of e-mail). It is also the candidate's responsibility to ensure accurate
information is provided and updated as required.
4) It is your responsibility to check your e-mail account regularly to ensure that you do not miss out on any opportunities. Failure to respond in the appropriate timeframe will result in not being referred to the organization.
5) Please ensure to indicate the work location(s) where you would be willing and able to relocate in your application.
6) In assessing candidates, assessment boards may use a variety of tools and methods including, but not limited to, reviews of past performance and accomplishments, written tests, interviews, PSC tests, reference checks, etc. In addition, all information obtained throughout the selection process, from the time of application to close of process, may be used to evaluate the candidates.
7) Please note that for candidates applying from outside the public service, the Department may not reimburse travel expenses linked to the assessment process; however, every reasonable effort will be made to minimize travel costs for candidates who will undergo assessment.
