The Ionizing Radiation Health Sciences Division at Health Canada conducts research into health effects from ionizing radiation exposure. This position will involve the development of adverse outcome pathways (AOP) to space flight health outcomes. The work will include: literature searches, filtering of studies and compilation into the AOP format (www.aopwiki.org).

Education:
The student must be currently enrolled or willing to enroll in a Master's program at the University of Ottawa, with a specialization in Biological sciences.
Areas of Study and Specializations:
Biological Sciences (biology, biochemistry)
Note: Applied research must be a requirement of graduation
Experience:
Experience in planning and conducting research
Experience in working with a team of researchers or support staff

The student must meet the requirements of the Master’s program at the University of Ottawa in the Department of Biology for the fall of 2020.
