The Director, Data & Analytics Enablement is responsible for:
• Providing advice and support on analytics tools and visualizations
• Connecting automated data sources to dashboards
• Training personnel on data principles and analytics tools

• Intake for client projects
• Leading enterprise efforts to facilitate data access for decision-making
The Director, Data Policy & Digital Innovation is responsible for:
• Policy leadership for emerging technology and development of policy and guidelines
• Data Governance for the DND/CAF Data Program
• Digital transformation to enable DND/CAF to enhance services
The Director Corporate Planning and Reporting is responsible for:
• Developing and monitoring strategic policy and planning frameworks
• Providing executive level oversight of financial and human resources
• Formulating and implementing strategies to track and report on business goals and deliverables

At ADM(DIA), we are accelerating the adoption of data centric-decision making within the Department of National Defence. We are proudly leading the implementation of the Department’s Enterprise Data Strategy. In doing so, ADM(DIA) functions as a Centre of Expertise. This includes data and digital policy leadership and advancing enterprise data governance and data management. We lead efforts in data integration support and analytics solutions for Assistant Deputy Minister organizations to standardize, enhance and improve data collection and analysis across National Defence. In addition,
ADM(DIA) helps elevate the data culture and awareness by offering and facilitating data training and skills development.

ASSESSMENT:
Considering the current situation related to COVID-19 and in order to accelerate the selection process, assessments may be conducted through various means including but not limited to self-reporting examples of past performance and work-related achievements. An interview may be conducted by telephone or videoconference.
Requests for re-scheduling of assessments will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Supporting documentation may be required.
A candidate may be appointed to a position even though they do not meet any or all of the asset qualifications or operational requirements. However, meeting these criteria is desirable and may be a deciding factor in selecting the person to be appointed.
Applicants may be required to meet the asset qualifications or the organizational needs, depending on the requirements of the specific position being staffed. In this instance, any of the asset qualifications may be deemed essential requirements.
Recent and past performance evaluations may be used as part of the assessment. Accordingly, applicants may be required to submit a copy of their last two Performance Ratings/Evaluations as part of this selection process.
The Assessment Committee reserves the right to contact references other than those provided by the applicants, if found necessary, in order to adequately assess the applicants. The Committee may also consider using reference checks conducted from a previous selection process at the EX level (within the last year) to apply to this selection process. Applicants are expected to indicate their preference if applicable.
Indeterminate incumbents of EX-01 level positions as of January 1, 2016 are deemed to meet the minimum EX Group Qualification Standard for deployment. As part of this advertised process, management may re-assess some or all of the Key Leadership Competencies comprising the EX Group Qualification Standard.
In order to manage the number of applications in this selection process, random selection may be used at any time during the process.
Selection decisions may be based on the level, breadth or degree of qualifications achieved in one or more qualifications.
Applicants who meet the essential experience criteria may be ranked according to the depth and breadth of experience they possess. Only the top ranking applicants may be invited to the next phase of assessment. Asset criteria and/or organizational needs may also be applied at the screening stage.

EDUCATION:
