-E2 : Experience in the preparation of briefings or reports or on issues for management*.

*Management is defined as being at the Manager or Director level or higher.

-AS3:Experience planning and delivering a Fisheries related program.
-AS4:Experience in planning, co-ordinating or implementing Grants and Contributions Programs
-AS5:Experience in the negotiation of agreements.
-AS6:Experience in conflict resolution with external parties.
-AS7:Experience in working with Indigenous groups
-AS8:Experience working with Not-for-Profit organizations.
-AS9:Experience in data analysis and working with information management systems or database systems.

Knowledge

-AS1: Knowledge of stakeholder and Indigenous issues related to Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Pacific Region
-AS2: Knowledge of the Small Craft Harbours program, Pacific Region
