Assessment accommodation

Due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation, the selected candidate will work remotely from his/her residence location until further notice. When the decision is made for Elections Canada employees to return to the workplace, the successful candidate is expected to work at the traditional workplace located at 30, Victoria Street, in Gatineau with a combination of remote work all while ensuring a flexible work schedule.

Intent of the process

The immediate intention of this process is to staff one (1) determinate position with bilingual imperative BBB/BBB lingustic profile.

A pool of fully or partially qualified candidates may be established to staff similar positions within Elections Canada with various linguistic profile (English or French Essential, bilingual imperative BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC) and with various tenures (acting appointment, various specified periods, indeterminate).

Education:
A high school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and / or experience

Degree equivalency

Experience:
- Customer service experience
- Experience using Word and Excel software in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in providing administrative support to a supervisor / manager
- Experience in quality control

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Experience:

- Employee supervision experience
- Experience in coordinating meetings or planning events for medium-sized groups
- Experience in document management
- Experience in using information management systems
- Experience in document review and proofreading
