First Nations and Inuit Health Branch, Quebec Region is responsible for providing public health services to those living on reserve, we strive to provide the highest quality, comprehensive, environmental public health services and programs working with First Nations communities and partners. There are 8 core programs delivered: Drinking Water, Food Safety, Healthy Housing, Wastewater, Solid Waste Disposal, Facilities Inspection, Communicable Disease Control, and Emergency Preparedness & Response.
A pool of partially and or fully qualified candidates will be established and may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures (permanent, specified period, deployment, assignment, secondment and/or acting) within Indigenous Services Canada, First Nations & Inuit Health Branch, Quebec Region.

Your résumé.
Education:
A post-secondary school diploma in an environmental health related discipline from a recognized Canadian institution.
Occupational Certification:
Certificate in Public Health Inspection (Canada) CPHI©, from the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors.
Experience:
Work experience as an environmental health officer or public health inspector.
Work experience with First Nations.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
Information on language requirements
Knowledge of practices in the field of Public Health and/or Environmental Health.

-Frequent travel to First Nations communities using a variety of modes of transportation, such as small aircraft.
