Intent of the process

The immediate intent of this poster is to fill seven (7) positions.

A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions at this group and level with various language requirements (English Essential or Bilingual Imperative),various security requirements, various conditions of employment as well as various tenures acting,assignment/secondment, deployment, term and/or indeterminate) within Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada and Indigenous Services Canada.

EDUCATION
Successful completion of two years of secondary school or employer-approved alternatives.

The employer-approved alternatives to two years of secondary school are:
o A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to two years of secondary school; or
o An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
Experience in providing general administrative services in one (1) or more of the following:

- Co-ordinating travel arrangements and preparing expense reports;
- Co-ordinating schedules for employees;
- Purchasing of supplies; OR
- Finance.

Experience using computer programs including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Asset Qualifications - EXPERIENCE
Experience using Hogg Robinson Group (HRG).

Experience in committing funds and inputting data in the financial system such as SAP Financial System.

Experience in Financial Administrative Act (FAA) and Sections 32, 33 & 34.

Reliability Status security clearance

A valid Category 1 medical clearance – Preplacement (including dependents) as per section 4.2 of the Isolated Post and Government Housing Directive for positions in Sioux Lookout (Ontario).

Undertake a Category 1 periodic health evaluation (including dependents) in accordance with Appendix A of the Occupational Health Evaluation Standard Schedule for positions in Sioux Lookout (Ontario).
