Shared Services Canada is modernizing how the Government of Canada manages its information technology (IT) infrastructure. The Department is mandated to deliver email, data centre and telecommunication services, including videoconferencing and Wi-Fi, to partner organizations.

ED1: A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and /or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
EXP1: Experience providing compensation and benefits services to clients.

EXP2: Experience in the application of legislation, policies or directives.

EXP3: Experience in the use of large-scale computer applications such as Phoenix, Peoplesoft

AED2: Successful completion of the Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation from the Canadian Payroll Association.

AEXP1: Experience processing compensation or benefit transactions in a large scale payroll system such as Phoenix or other.

AEXP2: Experience using a Human Resources Information System such as PeopleSoft.

AEXP3: *Significant experience researching and analyzing compensation or benefit related issues.

AEXP4: Experience using a case management system to document actions taken, assign and prioritize work.

*Significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience that would normally be associated with the performance of these duties as a major function for an approximate period of 12 consecutive months in the last three (3) years
