SCREENING QUESTIONNAIRE

Under guidance, researches, collates, reviews, evaluates and analyzes information from a variety of sources to assist with the development and production of intelligence products.
With the Intelligence Analyst/Coach, applies analytical methodologies to assess the nature and extent of criminal networks, activities, trends and threats which contributes to the development of intelligence on various organized crime and terrorist organizations.
Contributes to the development of intelligence analytical products such as network analysis, time lines related to crime and suspect information, intelligence briefings, threat assessments, and reports on crime trends/patterns; presents findings in written reports or orally.
The RCMP is seeking highly motivated Intelligence Analysts to specialize in Cybercrime and other investigations. You will be part of a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team with a mandate to assist in the identification, analysis, investigation and disruption of criminal activity.
For Cybercrime positions, your significant operational role will enhance Canada’s cyber security and safeguard its citizens and vital systems. Under the guidance of the Senior Analyst you will create actionable intelligence products on emerging cyber threat events, situations, and actors in support of Federal Policing investigations at the national and international level.
The intent of this process is to fill one EC-04 / ESS-04 position in Milton, Ontario. A pool of candidates may be established and used for future staffing.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization* in economics, sociology or statistics.
* Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
E1. Significant* experience conducting research, analyzing, and writing reports to provide guidance or recommendations to decision makers.
E2. Experience in developing or applying analytical techniques or qualitative/quantitative methodology to advance a project.
