The immediate need is to staff a BILINGUAL CONTACT CENTRE MANAGER (PM-05). This manager will:
• Plan and manage the human, financial and material resources of the work unit.
• Lead the development of service delivery strategies, operational plans, business plans, and priorities for the Contact Centre; promote strategic visions and works with organizational peers and senior management to resolve service delivery issues.
• Work with Information Systems Branch and technology service providers to maintain and develop the telephony solution for the Contact Centre.

• Plans and manages the human, financial and material resources of the work unit.
• Develops and maintains the Farm Income Programs Directorate systems vision and strategy documents.
• Collaborates with the Human Resources Branch on a wide range of human resources policies and practices and translates human resources advice into concrete management options.
• Leads the development of Strategic Planning and Human Resource Management strategies and plans and ensures the integration with business strategies and plans.
• Directs the development of internal communication strategies and ensures that messages to staff, unions and managers are timely, clear, complete and consistent with previous Farm Income Programs Directorate’s and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s messages on similar and related matters.

Immediate need: To staff one (1), PM-05 Bilingual Contact Centre Manager, indeterminate full-time position in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
A pool of qualified candidates will be established and may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures (Indeterminate, Specified period, Acting, Assignment, Secondment, or Deployment) based on the position being staffed within Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC). EDUCATION
► A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and or experience.
EXPERIENCE
► Experience* managing staff normally associated with having managed a full performance management cycle**.
► Experience* preparing written material for management such as briefing notes, memoranda, project documents and issue papers.
► Experience* analyzing complex work related issues or problems, trouble-shooting and recommending solutions.
*Experience is defined as normally having performed the duties within the last 5 years.

ASSET EDUCATION
► Graduation with a certificate, diploma or degree from a post secondary institution in a related field.
ASSET EXPERIENCE
► Experience and/or a certificate in project management.
► Experience managing multidisciplinary or multi-divisional teams.
► Experience managing a budget.
► Experience managing business technology (e.g. Telephone and Voice Mail Systems and Inventory Control System).
► Experience in preparing operational or business plans.
► Experience preparing, implementing and monitoring Human Resource Management strategies and/or plans.

► Experience in Call Centre management or operations.

ASSESSEMENT INFORMATION
You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. Some essential and other qualifications will be assessed through your application. It is your responsibility to provide appropriate examples that illustrate how you meet each qualification. Failing to do so could result in your application being rejected.
