Justice Canada’s Business Management and Governance Division is looking for an individual who is eager to work hard, learn, have fun and help support our great team do its part to support the effective delivery of senior departmental governance. The chosen candidate will be managing the logistics for executive level committees, which includes, but is not limited to, providing meeting support, managing membership data, and maintaining electronic document repositories (email and digital). In addition, the candidate will be seeking opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of committee operations (tools and processes) in collaboration with co-workers, partners and other stakeholders.
The Business Management and Governance Division (BMG) is a small, dynamic team with an explicit commitment to maintaining a healthy and respectful workplace for our employees. BMG promotes professional growth among its employees by encouraging collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the team and with other organizations across the Department. Due to our strong, productive networks and broad skill set, senior executives often turn to BMG to provide answers and get results, leading to the team’s involvement in a number of high-profile departmental events and initiatives.
We are looking for a bilingual graduate from a business administration program interested in a casual opportunity (90 working days) located in Ottawa (275 Sparks Street), which could lead to longer-term employment.

• You must have experience working in an client service environment.
