Intent of the process

The immediate need is to staff one Bilingual Imperative CBC/CBC position in Ottawa for an indeterminate period.

A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates may be established from this process which may be used to staff similar positions within the Department of Justice Canada with various tenures, work locations, language requirements and/or conditions of employment, which may vary according to the position to be staffed.

EDUCATION
• ED1 - A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
• EX1 - Experience providing support and assistance to management and employees regarding the application and compliance of legislation, policies and guidelines.
• EX2 - Experience providing advice and guidance regarding occupational health and safety.
• EX3 - Experience coordinating projects.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION
• AED1 - Post-secondary diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
• AED2 - Designation from the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals.

Degree equivalency

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
• AEX1 - Experience managing projects in the field of occupational health and safety.
• AEX2 - Experience in Workers Compensation Claims Case Management.
• AEX3 - Experience conducting ergonomic assessments or adjustments.
• AEX4 - Experience delivering training.
