The Public Health Agency of Canada will periodically pull and review the applications received and contact applicants selected for further assessment based on the needs. The first pull of applications may be as early as March 19, 2020.
The immediate intent of the inventory is to staff two Stores Person as terms (12-24 months) to work in the Centre for Emergency Preparedness and Response in order to help prepare and respond to the emergence of novel coronavirus (COVID-19). This could include casual or term (specified period) appointments. A pool of qualified candidates may be created and may be used to staff temporary or permanent opportunities within the Public Health Agency of Canada.

Education
A Secondary School diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
Experience providing service to clients by telephone, in person or in writing
Experience inputting and processing data in electronic databases
Experience in maintaining accurate and up to date files/documents
Experience with various computer software programs, such as: Word, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge :
Knowledge of Health and Safety Standards
Knowledge of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act
Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
Ability:
Ability to communicate effectively orally

Operational Requirements
Willing and able to work between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
