The intent of this process is to fill bilingual positions on an indeterminate or temporary basis within various branches of the Canadian Foreign Service Institute (CFSI).
This process may be used to create a pool of qualified candidates as well as to fill identical or similar positions at the Department of Global Affairs Canada. Tenures and official language requirements may vary according to the positions being staffed (BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC or CCC/CCC).

EDUCATION :
EDS-03
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in education, linguistics, sociology, psychology, mathematics, physics, home economics or some other specialty relevant to the positions in the classification.
OR
PE-04
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.
Note: Candidates must always have a university degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in a required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCES :
EXP1: Recent* and significant** experience in analysis, design, development, delivery and evaluation of training, including online and/or classroom based courses, based on adult learning principles.
EXP2: Recent* and significant** experience facilitating classroom based learning events and/or the design of e-learning.
EXP3: Recent* and significant** experience leading projects and/or programs.
EXP4: Experience in advising senior management on adult learning programs and/or major policy initiatives.
*Recent is defined as within the last 8 years
**Significant requires demonstration of depth/breadth/complexity in work performance
EDUCATION :
Masters degree from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in education, social sciences or a related discipline.
EXPERIENCES :
AEXP1 : Recent* experience in selecting, contracting and supervising the work of consultants.
AEXP2 : Significant** experience in working with internal and external clients/stakeholders in public, private academic or non-profit organizations with an international focus.
AEXP3 : Experience in studying or working overseas.
AEXP4 : Experience in conducting research including research design, data collection and data analysis using basic qualitative and quantitative methods.
AEXP5 : Experience in facilitation of workshops including in the domains of Leadership Development and/or Organizational Development or International Affairs and/or the development of accessible (WCAG 2.0 AA standard) eLearning products.
