The Finance and Resource Management Services Directorate is responsible for sound management, stewardship and policy and program decision-making through the provision of timely, robust and relevant financial information, services and advice.
The immediate need is to staff at least 2 positions in the National Capital Region.
A pool of qualified and partially qualified candidates will be established and may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures as well as various linguistic requirements, in other locations listed in the advertisement.

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Experience with Microsoft Office software products, including Outlook, Word, Excel.
Experience in providing financial services (e.g., processing financial or pay related transactions, reviewing financial coding).
Experience providing a range of administrative services, including three or more of the following: formatting documents, data entry, scheduling meetings, maintaining an electronic and paper filing system, drafting and editing correspondence, and completing organizational forms such as human resources or finance.
Experience in preparing and formatting various documents and reports.
Successful completion of a certificate, diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a field related to the position.
Experience in the use of a financial system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Free Balance) and/or Salary Forecasting Tool and/or a People Management Tool (e.g., PeopleSoft).
Experience providing basic human resources services (e.g., scheduling interviews, processing staffing actions).
Experience using an information management system (e.g., RDIMS/Agridocs, GCDOCS) to collect, organize and disseminate information.
Experience using a departmental correspondence tracking system (e.g., ECMS, CCM Enterprise (TRECS)).
Experience in using a travel system such as the Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) Shared Travel Services (STS) system.
Experience in providing advice and guidance on policies and procedures related to accounts payable and/or travel and/or human resources.
