EDUCATION:
A secondary school diploma AND completion of an acceptable training program in electronics technology or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience. Normally, an acceptable training program in electronics technology involves the completion of two to three years of post-secondary study in this subject.
EXPERIENCE
EX1: Experience providing technical support or technical services and advice to management and clients.
EX2: Experience developing, installing, testing or maintaining electro-mechanical systems.

A degree from a recognized Post-Secondary institution in Electronics Technology, Engineering Technology, Radiological Technology or some other specialty related to the position.

ASSET EX3: Experience in the development, testing or maintenance of detection technology (e.g., x-Ray imaging systems or trace detection systems, etc.), laboratory equipment (e.g., fume hoods, specialized tools, etc.) or industrial electro-mechanical equipment (e.g., conveyor belts, manufacturing robots, etc.)
ASSET EX4: Experience providing technical services to the military, law enforcement or other security organizations responsible for critical infrastructure protection (e.g., CATSA)
ASSET KNOWLEDGE
AK1: Knowledge of the functionality of radiographic (X-Ray or Gamma Ray) systems.

For this selection process, it is our intention to communicate with candidates via email for screening and assessment purposes.
