Our Fiduciary Risk, Compliance and Fraud Division, of the Management of Grants & Contributions Bureau, is comprised of four Units: Financial Compliance, Financial Risk Assessment, Fraud Management, and Fiduciary Risk and Practices Development. This job roster will be used to fill jobs at the FI-02 level within the Financial Compliance Unit (FCU) and may also be used to fill similar roles in other Units of the Division. The FCU is responsible for the coordination and planning of activities to strengthen the financial capacity of our partner organizations, the development and implementation of the annual audit plan, and more. Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to staff 2 positions on an indeterminate basis with BBB/BBB language requirements. A pool of candidates may be established to staff similar positions with various tenures and/or linguistic requirements within Global Affairs Canada.

EDUCATION:

• Being a recognized Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)
OR
• Have completed a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized post-secondary institution and be registered to the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) (either through CPA preparatory courses or post-secondary institution programs).

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
- One year of experience in the last five (5) years in completing audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) of not-for-profit organizations, for-profit organizations and crown corporations.
- Experience in supervising and directing staff, and managing employees tasks

Asset Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:
- Significant** experience in performing all phases of audit projects that respect professional standards.
- Experience in conducting compliance audits in accordance with GAAS.
- Experience in conducting audits overseas in accordance with GAAS.
- Experience in supervising and directing teams (minimum 2 people) on a consistent basis over a minimum of 1 year.
- Experience with grants and contributions.

**Significant will be evaluated in terms of length, complexity and diversity of work experience that was a core part of the candidate’s employment and would have normally been obtained through approximately two (2) years of experience in the last ten (10) years.
