Assessment accommodation

This process is carried out jointly with the Information Analyst/Researcher (EC-02) internal selection process #2020-CSD-IA-QC-0009554. The same assessment tools will be used. A separate pool of candidates will be created for each process.

EDUCATION:

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.

Note: Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in synthesizing information and preparing reports.

ABILITIES AN PERSONAL SUITABILITIES:

Written Communication: The ability to express oneself clearly and concisely in writing.

Client Focus: Willingness to help internal and external clients and be responsive to their needs.

Initiative: Ability to determine what needs to be done and to act without waiting for the situation to require or receive the order.

ABILITIES & SKILLS:

Oral Communication: The ability to express oneself clearly, concisely and openly orally.

Analytical Research Skills: Ability to analyze and synthesize information from various sources.

Using technology: The ability to use computer tools, including word processing and spreadsheet software, such as the Microsoft Office Suite.

Verification and Accuracy: Ability to ensure that information is complete and accurate and that errors are corrected and to follow through on the details of task completion.

Experience in using statistical software (such as SAS or other).

Experience in using data visualization software.
