Education:
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
- Recent* and significant** experience performing a range of administrative activities for a senior manager***.
- Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to the following programs: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Experience managing a schedule and coordinating meeting materials for a senior manager***.
- Experience scheduling and organizing meetings and events (teleconference, videoconference and/or in person).
- Experience preparing, reviewing, prioritizing and tracking documents and correspondence for a senior manager*** and ensuring action is taken and assigned deadlines are met.
- Experience providing service to internal and external clients by telephone, in person or in writing.
- Experience coordinating and booking travel.
*Recent is defined as within the last two (2) years.
**Significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally acquired during a period of at least one (1) year.
***Senior manager is defined as director level or above.
Education:
Successful completion of post-secondary studies in secretarial, office management, administrative support or other training related to the position.
Experience:
- Experience booking travel using the HRG Shared Travel Services (STS) system, including processing travel claims.
- Experience using SAP financial management system.
- Experience providing budget and financial support services.
- Experience taking and preparing meeting minutes.
