Duties

Transcribe audio files using the Police Reporting and Occurrence System (PROS) Database.
Follow the policies and procedures to ensure an accurate and timely end product.
Review the work of co-workers to ensure accurate data entry.

Intent of the process

This inventory will be used to staff indeterminate and various term positions at the CR-04 group and level, in the PROS Data Centre located in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

Should a CM be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member.

Successful completion of two years of secondary school* or employer approved alternatives
*Two years of secondary school is typically the completion of grade 10

Degree equivalency

Experience performing data entry

Written communication

**Proficiency in keyboarding
**Proficiency in keyboarding can typically be obtained with 40 wpm and 98% accuracy

Ability to review the work of others
