Education:
• Secondary school diploma OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience that is relevant to the position.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
AS-05
• Experience analyzing information and providing recommendations to management* in Human Resources, Business Planning, Finance, Information Management, ATIP, Accommodations or another related field.

AS-05 Experience addressing and resolving administrative or operational issues

AS-05 Experience managing teams or overseeing the work of others.

AS-06 -Significant** experience analyzing information and providing recommendations to senior management*** in Human Resources, Business Planning, Finance, Information Management, ATIP, Accommodations or another related field.

AS-06 Significant** experience addressing and resolving administrative or operational issues.

AS-06 Significant** experience managing teams or overseeing the work of others

*Management is understood to mean Manager level or private sector equivalent
**Significant is understood to mean the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of complex related activities for a period of approximately three (3) years

Education:
• Successful completion of a post-secondary diploma or certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution in a field related to the position (Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, etc.)

Degree equivalency

Experience in interpreting human resources policies or regulations.

Experience in the planning and delivery of human resources service, such as: human resources planning, classification, staffing, recruitment, training, performance management or labour relations.

Experience interpreting and applying policies, directives and procedures to resolve complex Human Resources issues

Experience in organizational design and/or job evaluation

Experience conducting research and analysis for organizational design issues

Contribute to the development or implementation of strategic initiatives, policies, projects or programs that affect the direction of the organization.

Experience providing advice related to strategic planning, performance or Business Plan reporting

Experience providing strategic analysis, advice and support for projects and initiatives

Experience providing advice to senior management on complex issues related to financial resource management, financial policies, financial systems, internal controls or accounting operations. (Complex refers to the quantity, diversity and impact of the decision).

Experience providing financial analysis and reporting.

Experience leading information management projects and initiatives

Experience working with Electronic Document Management and Records Management Systems (examples: GCdocs, eDOCS, RDIMS, Microsoft SharePoint, etc)

Experience providing recommendations to streamline operations, increase efficiencies, or improve program delivery
