Looking for an exciting, dynamic and challenging work environment? Want your work to make a difference in people's lives? If being part of an energetic, growing team of dedicated professionals, working to implement positive change for Canadians as part of regulating an ever evolving $53+ billion industry is of interest to you, a leadership position in the CRTC’s Telecommunications Sector might be for you!
The CRTC is a federal administrative tribunal of about 500 employees that serves Canadians as citizens, creators and consumers. The CRTC’s Telecommunications Sector develops public policies that apply nationwide and conducts other regulatory activities aimed at ensuring that high quality telecommunications services at affordable rates are available in all regions of Canada, promoting competitiveness among service providers, and enhancing the safety of Canadians.
Did you know that we also run a national fund that will invest $750 million to bring broadband Internet and mobile phone service to Canadians in Northern communities and other rural and remote areas that wouldn’t otherwise benefit from these services?
No experience in the Telecommunications sector? We’re first and foremost looking for critical thinkers and leaders who can perform solid analysis, write well, present their ideas effectively, and have what it takes to guide and engage a team in achieving outstanding results for Canadians.
