Plan and organize the provision of information management services, documents and, where applicable, mail.
Develop, recommend and implement internal document and information management procedures, systems, tools and practices based on departmental guidelines and frameworks, in consultation with the departmental functional authority.
Develop, adapt and implement departmental guidelines and frameworks for document and information management to meet the client's organizational needs.
Provide advice, guidance and training to managers and employees of the client organization on information and document management policies, procedures and systems, and related issues and problems.
Our intent for this process is to staff a determinate (temporary) position for a 12 month duration. A pool of qualified candidates will also be established and may be used to staff similar positions on an acting, term or indeterminate basis in various locations.

Education:
Diploma from a recognized university in Information Management or related field relevant for the positions;
OR
DEC in Information Technology or related field relevant for the positions.
Experience:
Experience in providing client services in information management and/or document management;
Experience in the field of information management, including research, analysis and information lifecycle management;
Experience in assessing and recommending client needs and proposals and/or creation or information management solutions;
Experience in integrating information management systems with employees.

Knowledge:
Knowledge of information management, including document storage and retrieval systems;
Knowledge of electronic document management with web platforms such as SharePoint;
Knowledge of analysis and understanding of business needs.
Abilities:

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Experience:
Experience working with Electronic Document Management with Sharepoint;
Experience working in a central records office organizing files in accordance with an established file management system.

Knowledge of technological trends and developments related to information management and/or records management.
Operational requirements:
The person could be required to travel;
The person could work overtime;
Willingness to obtain a DND404 driver’s license.
Security level : Reliability
Possess a valid class 5 driver’s license.
