Provision of meals to offenders in an institution of the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) receiving most of their menu items from a CSC Regional Food Production Centre (RFPC) and where limited food production on site is required.
Supervision and training of offenders in the area of Food Services to improve their employability skills and behaviours.

EDUCATION
A secondary school diploma or a satisfactory score on the PSC test approved or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.

EXPERIENCE
*Recent experience working as a short order and/or large quantity cook in a commercial or institutional setting. (* within the last 5 years)
EDUCATION
Interprovincial Standards (Red Seal) Program certification - Cook
Possession of a valid recognized Safe Food Handling Program certification
EXPERIENCE
Experience working with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) procedures
Experience working in a correctional environment (institutional or community office)
Experience in using different software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) in a work context
Experience as a team leader responsible for a team of employees
Experience using a foods services information management software
