In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in biological sciences, toxicology, agricultural sciences, biochemistry, microbiology, chemistry, pharmacology, industrial/occupational hygiene, health/biomedical sciences, environmental sciences.

Note:
1.The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and must have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization.

Degree equivalency

Essential Experience:
- Experience in analysing, reviewing and interpreting scientific data, literature or information.
- Experience in writing technical reports analysing, integrating and summarizing key scientific information from multiple sources.

- Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with a postgraduate degree (MSc or PhD) in a field identified under essential education

Degree equivalency

Assets for Stream 1: Toxicology
Experience:
- Experience in the assessment of hazard or risk to human health posed by chemical substances.
- Experience providing advice or recommendations based on interpretation of regulations, policies and guidelines.

Assets for Stream 2: Dietary and Occupational/Residential Exposure
Experience:
- Experience in the assessment of risk to human health posed by chemical substances.
- Experience providing advice or recommendations based on interpretation of regulations, policies and guidelines.
- Experience in integration of results from exposure evaluation into risk assessments.

Assets for Stream 3: Scientific Project Coordination Biologist
Experience:
- Experience in the assessment of risk to human health or the environment posed by chemical substances.
- Experience in organizing and coordinating scientific, regulatory or technical activities.
- Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams projects or activities.
- Experience providing advice or recommendations based on interpretation of regulations, policies or guidelines.
