Anticipatory Process - The purpose of this process is to fill a term AS-01 Administrative Assistant position with a bilingual imperative BBB/BBB linguistic profile.
A pool of fully or partially qualified candidates will be created to fill casual, term or indeterminate Administrative Assistant positions at the Laurentian Forestry Center in Quebec, Canadian Forest Service, Natural Resources Canada, for which the language requirements (French essential or Bilingual), language profile (BBB/BBB), security requirements and conditions of employment vary.

A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives
Experience in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Experience of at least one (1) year in the coordination of administrative activities for a manager, in particular the management of her/his calendar, the regular control of her/his emails and the relevant administrative follow-ups.
Experience of at least one (1) year in providing administrative services in at least one (1) of the three (3) following areas:
- human resources
- finances or budget monitoring
- travel planification and arrangements

Post-secondary certificate or diploma in a field related to the position such as office technology, secretarial work or any other deemed relevant.
Experience in coordinating administrative activities in a senior manager* office.
Experience in preparing documents such as letters, memos, briefing notes or reports.
Experience in writing correspondence and reports.
Experience in preparing travel and hospitality claims.
Experience in using a travel services system (ex. HRG Shared Travel Services Portal).
Experience in maintaining and updating the human resources management information system (ex. PeopleSoft).
Experience in using a financial system (ex. SAP).
Experience in the acquisition of goods or services.
*Senior manager is defined as director level and above.
